Westwood & Clear Creek
Westwood is located 11 miles east-northeast of Chester and 20 miles west-southwest of Susanville, at an elevation of 5128 feet. With a population of 1600, Westwood is home to the Annual Paul Bunyan Festival, and the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe monument, a tradition that began in Westwood rich logging history. Clear Creek is a beautiful hamlet on the east side of Dyer Mountain lying half way between Westwood and Lake Almanor. Clear Creek is host to one of the more beautiful public parks in the area.
